Addressing the challenges of informal settlements for a better tomorrow

The Katchi Abadie’s of Karachi, commonly referred to as informal settlements, are home to a significant portion of the city’s population. According to a 2019 report by the Sindh Katchi Abadi Department of KMC, Karachi alone has 575 such settlements, contributing to the city’s complex urban landscape.

These areas are characterized by inadequate infrastructure, limited access to essential services, and substandard living conditions. Residents often face challenges such as lack of clean water, proper sanitation, and reliable electricity. A 2024 report highlighted that approximately 56% of Pakistan’s urban population resides in Katchi Abadie’s, underscoring the magnitude of this issue nationwide.

Mutation
Our department facilitates the transfer of property ownership through a streamlined mutation process, ensuring transparency and compliance with legal protocols. This service ensures rightful ownership and smooth property transitions.
NOC for Sale/Gift
